New Price Match Promotion for Catering Equipment Hire.

On 2019 & 2020 bookings for events completed before 1st April 2020, in Somerset and Dorset.

In today’s internet culture of shopping around for the best deal available. We want to ensure our customers are confident of not only getting excellent service and quality of equipment. My team are also committed to making sure you get a fair deal. We understand that our customer’s events are very important.  Therefore we do not want our customers to feel they have to compromise on quality. Service and cleanliness are vital and shouldn’t be sacrificed to get a good deal. Britannia Catering Yeovil is therefore willing to offer a price match promotion, for bookings completed before the 1st April 2019.


It does not matter if your preferred reception venue is a stately home, hotel, village hall, or a marquee. What a lot of people overlook, or do not give their full attention, is the catering equipment within the venue. Perfection is in the detail! Creating your ideal wedding reception, party or event is very stressful.  Regardless of whether you have a large, or small budget. This means checking thoroughly exactly what you are getting and the quality of the equipment and service. Please make sure you know what you get for your money before you pay, or book.

Our Service

If you ask us to price match a written quotation, this will not affect the quality of equipment.  We will confirm your booking from our own stock. and not substitute other equipment at the last minute. If your numbers change close to your booking date. We will hold you’re agreed on pricing rates and not renegotiate inflated prices for additional goods.

We stock a wide range of high-quality equipment. It may be still difficult to match exactly with other companies, as some companies offer low quality and old equipment. If we can, we will endeavour to supply better quality, cleanliness and service at the same cost. You are very welcome to visit our Exeter warehouse to view our equipment.

We will require a written copy of any quotation prior to any price match comparison. Including the delivery and collection charges to the location of your event. Any offer will depend on stock availability. Please be aware there is a lot of online fraud with people pretending to offer a hire service. When they don’t actually have any equipment to hire, or are based out of the area.

How do I get a quotation

Once a written quotation has been given on a price match promotion we will not negotiate further on that quotation. Our normal terms and conditions will apply. The deposit will be required to confirm your booking and reserve the stock.  We will not price match retrospectively after quotations have been accepted.

Britannia Catering Yeovil is part of South West Event Hire Ltd. The directors reserve the right to match prices, or not. Depending on our interpretation of similar quality of goods, services and peak period and delivery considerations. This price matching promotion is subject to cancellation, or extension by the Directors without notice. The price matching promotion is only available for events in Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Bath and Bristol.

How to hire

How to hire. Welcome, If you are an existing customer, please log in to our website using your email address. Then select the products you wish to hire and complete your quote request list. Our customer service team will then check stock availability and delivery charges for your dates. We will forward your no-obligation quotation to you, as quickly as possible. We aim to answer every enquiry within 24 working hours from receiving your quotation request.

If you are new to hiring equipment from our company, you are very welcome, and we wish to be of service to you, for your event. We provide catering equipment and furniture hire for large and small events, but every job is very important to us. Our operating area covers the whole of the four South West counties of Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Bath and Bristol.

Please create an account, so that we will have all the information necessary to complete your enquiry quickly and accurately. Alternatively, you can submit a guest quotation request. We don’t use your information for any other purposes, and we don’t pass your information onto third parties. Then select the items that you think you would like to hire and submit your quotation request. Making sure to complete the dates of your event and the venue delivery address. Postcodes are very important to us. All our delivery vehicles are fitted with Sat Nav and tracking systems to help us get the equipment to you on time. Alternatively, you are very welcome to collect or return the hired goods from our Exeter warehouse. Our opening hours are 0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Our quotation

We will produce a no-obligation quotation within 24 hrs during Monday – Friday. This quote will have a 5 digit reference number for your event. Please use this reference number during any subsequent changes to this quotation. While we are producing your quotation, we will check our stock availability at that time, to ensure we are able to complete your request. This, however, doesn’t reserve the stock for you. Once you are happy in principle with this quotation. We ask that you pay a 30% deposit to confirm the order and this will reserve the stock for you. However, we do understand the difficulty in fixing the final numbers of guests. Therefore you can still adjust your numbers up to 14 days prior to delivery.

Final Payment

By 14 days prior to delivery. At this point, your final balance is due to be paid, which you can do by Bac’s transfer to our bank. Credit, or debit card payment via our website via Sagepay, link to Sagepay page, or by cheque. Please note cheques must be cleared prior to the hire goods leaving our warehouse.

Delivery, or collection

You can collect your hire equipment from our Exeter warehouse. Alternatively, we can deliver and collect your hire order. Charges will be calculated by our staff from the closest of our two delivery points, Martock in Somerset and Exeter. Once you submit your quote request we will calculate the charges and include the in your no-obligation quotation.
