BOOKING & BILLING Our hire prices are based on a period of up to 3 days but you can arrange to hire for longer when you book. We require a 25% deposit at the time of your booking and the balance by 14 days before the hiring period. With the balance, we ask for a separate damages deposit of 20% of the hire cost or £80, (whichever is the higher amount) which will be returned to you unless anything is damaged, broken or missing. Any item that is missing or damaged (cracked, chipped or broken) will be charged at 5 x the hire price. However, we anticipate that you will take good care of the crockery and accessories while you are responsible for them. CANCELLATION If this occurs more than 30 days before your event, you will receive your deposit back in full. If you cancel within 30 days of the event, your deposit will not be returned unless you rebook at another mutually convenient time and we have not lost potential business by refusing others your original dates. | STYLING In addition to crockery hire, we can also provide you with a styling service to help you design, dress and lay your tables with flair. Please ask for a quote when booking. DELIVERY & COLLECTION This is free within a 20 mile radius of Bigbury and then 50p per mile or you may collect and return the crockery yourself. WASHING UP Washing up and laundry is all done by us and included in the hire price. The crockery needs to be carefully hand-washed so we relieve you of that chore! TAKING CARE We ask that you handle the crockery with care as it is delicate, particularly the gilding. We ask that you wipe it clean from food and liquid (with soft cloths or kitchen paper) and pack it in the same way you received it. |
